Well well the famous author who wrote Crayon Shinchan died this week. He apparently fell off a cliff.

I think he deserves a post here.

He has been missing since Sep 11th, found on the 19th, and confirmed on the 20th.

For those of you who don't know, Crayon Shichan was just as famous as those Miyazaki Hayao films. Shichan has been people's childhood memories and source of entertainment for the past few years. Yos-hito has greatly influenced the manga and anime industry.

is the original version as strangely perverse and adult themed as the Adult Swim version they had swimming around for a while? cuz it was undeniably funny in a completely unorthodox way

Yep. But I wouldn't say it's adult themed. The world, especiall the media, is a bit too agressive these days.
