ANN reports that TV-Asahi president Hiroshi Hayakawa has confirmed that Crayon Shin-Chan’s animated adaptation will continue after the death of creator Yoshito Usui.

Usui passed away September 11th in a climbing incident, only to be found days later. He had finished two more chapters of the comic, which will be published.

Adult Swim, which used to air the FUNimation dub of Shin-Chan, commented on his death this weekend.
