Crayon Shin Chan’s Yoshito Usui was found dead today after being missing since September 11th. He fell off a cliff while hiking in the mountains. Full news here.

That is so depressing. I’ve been reading the comics for years and years. The comics was silly and yet hilarious. My sister grew up watching the anime and collected some dvds of Shin Chan. Shin Chan was just a part of our lives. Now that the author and creator is gone, the comics ended at volume 49. Even if they continue the story using another manga artist, it’ll never be the same.

Rest in peace Yoshito Usui. Your work will always be remembered by people worldwide.
