Very sad news. Long-time hiking enthusiast and creator of the much beloved Crayon Shin-chan manga, Usui Yoshito (age 51) has died. He went missing a week ago (September 11), and on Sunday, a body found in the mountains on Saturday, was identified as his. From the various articles that are trickling in, it seems that the fate of the manga and TV show are still being determined. The manga will run for a few more chapters, as apparently he turned in a batch of work before going on his ill-fated hiking trip. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.
