Native Officers, 2nd Regiment of Cavalry, Punjab
Frontier Force c1880. Raised at Lahore in 1849 by
Lt (Later General Sir) Samuel Browne as the 2nd
Regiment of Punjab Cavalry, the regiment saw
action during the second Afghan War (1878-80).
