Hi friends,

I am watching this series for last one year.
I have seen lots of cartoons but no one impressed me as Shinchan did.

Crayon Shin-chan is a Japanese series written by Yoshito

Usui. The series follows the antics of five-year-old Shinnosuke Nohara and his parents, neighbors, friends, dog and many others. The series is set in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It is called "Crayon Shin-chan" because "crayon" signifies the fact that Shin-chan goes to kindergarten, and that the unique coloration makes it appear as if the characters are drawn with crayons. "Shin-chan" is the affectionate name for the main character.

I think every one must watch SHINCHAN to forget your daily life’s stress. It will make you refresh.

It comes on HANGAMA Channel.

Nohara Family

Shinnosuke Nohara (Shin-chan)
He is the main character, a kindergarten-aged boy whose antics are the basis for the series. His affectionate name is Shin-chan. He is 5 years old and loves chocolate biscuits which are referred to in the series as "Chocobi", and an animated superhero named "Action Kamen," who is called "Action Bastard" in the FUNimation dubbing. He is attracted to older girls and women, despite his young age, and says girls his age have no appeal for him. He brazenly pursues any girl who catches his eye. He shares this trait with his father and paternal grandfather, but this often results in Misae’s brutal punishment. The only girl he seems to really like (to the point of being shy and blushing around her and trying to behave) is a college student named Nanako. Some of his strange activities include dressing up as animals or plants and taking his pants off anywhere he feels the urge to. In general, he is brutally honest, highly curious, and has no shame whatsoever. It would appear that his behavior is rarely in accordance with standard Japanese decorum and social conventions.

Misae Nohara / Mitsy / Mitzi
Shin-chan’s mother. She is a homemaker who seems to be 29 all the time and is angered easily when Shin-chan makes fun of her or mocks her by acting like her, usually about her wrinkles, breast size, buttt size, or constipation. The standard retaliation is spanking, screwing fists into Shin-chan’s head, pulling cheeks, and even striking his head to produce enormous, but temporary, lumps (sometimes more blows are delivered before the lumps completely disappear and so the lumps pile on top of another). There are special names for these punishments: "genkotsu" means striking the head to produce lumps; "guriguri" means screwing fists into the head. Sometimes these punishments are inflicted on her husband, too. She is sometimes attracted to handsome men. She sets strict limits on her family’s expenses but sometimes splurges on herself. In the FUNimation dub, her name is Mitzi.

Hiroshi Nohara / Harry / Hiro
Shin-chan’s father. A low-level businessperson, he is the main (and only) income source of the family, with 32 years of mortgage payments left on the house. He is a stereotypical Japanese employee and frequently talks in his sleep, revealing that even in his dreams he is being scolded by his boss. Like his son, he is attracted to pretty women and often gets beat up by his wife Misae for it.

Himawari Nohara / Daisy / Hima
Shin-chan’s younger sister, not born in Indian series till now. She is less than one year old and her name means "sunflower." Even though she is still an infant, she displays an obsession towards shiny and branded objects. She is also attracted to young handsome men like her mother.

Shiro / Snowy / Whitey
Shin-chan’s pet dog. Like his name (shiro means white), he is white and fluffy. He sometimes seems to be the only one intelligent enough to see the real situation. He has the ability to roll up to look like a cotton candy. In the Spanish-language version the dog is called Nevado, that means snowy. In the FUNimation dub, his name is Whitey.

A Great Show............ Hats off to this......

Thanks and Regards
