I'm watching this on the news right now, but Yoshito Usui (the writer of Shin Chan) fell off a cliff and died. He disappeared on the 11th of this month and never went home.

shin-chan was always an inquisitive character, maybe his creator shared a few similar traits.

To be honest, it's a lot better than dying of pretty much any disease.

He was only 51 years old, and his death is really sad, but I'd take falling off a cliff over having my body slowly dissolved by cancer any day of the week.
