People tend to neglect the important part women’s shoes play in creating a fashion image. Compared with the heated topics around apparel, women’s shoes remain a rarely touched piece of the whole fashion pie. Every year we see so many fashion shows going around the whole world, but they are all about apparel, no even one special runway for women’s shoes! Yes, women’s shoes are after all only one among the various categories of clothing accessories, but unlike necklaces or watches, they are an indispensible part of any look!

Most of us are aware of the possible negative effects brought by inappropriate choices of shoes to accessorize our apparel. Even when talking about “the worst dressed stars” after an award ceremony in the entertainment realm, no matter how amazing a starlet’s dress may look, the wrong shoes are still disastrous.

It is true that most women would not bother to buy as many pairs of shoes as their outfits, some still have dozens of different shoes for different occasions. Carrie, the well-known character from the show Sex and the City, is a typical example.

As a successful columnist writing articles for the fictitious newspaper The New York Star, Carrie has an edgy fashion sense, especially for shoes. She is seen wearing stilettos all the time throughout the show, and Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo seem her favorite choices. Remember the episode called “A Women’s Right to Shoes”? Carrie was enraged to find her silver Manolos stolen in a baby shower party. Carrie is definitely the No. 1 fashion trendsetter in that show, her numerous eye-grabbing shoes, in particular, have heated up all fashion forums on the Internet. Carrie’s passion for shoes is so impressive that no viewer will miss her obsession with shoes!

Women are lucky enough to have so many styles and categories of shoes to choose from. But not every woman can afford a closet of shoes for every season. Two or three pairs of statement pumps or platforms for a certain season can be a wise choice on the condition that they are guaranteed to match all of your carefully selected ensembles to perfection. While this sounds challenging, it is worth a try. And also, never neglect the irreplaceable part women’s shoes play in a holistic style.

According to Wen Wei Po, Chinese renowned suit manufacturer Dalian Dayang Trands got high praise from Warren Edward Buffett, who has been dubbed the ‘God of Stocks’ in China. It was reported that Buffett showed up in a Dayang Trands suit in the short video posted on the Dayang Trands’ website, extending his congratulations on the company’s 30th anniversary. Upon the release of the video, shares of Dayang Trands soared with a 10% increase and reached the daily trading limit in three consecutive trading days. Till now, Dayang Trands’ shares have rocketed by nearly 72 percent.

Listed in Shanghai, Dayang Trands has been specialized in manufacturing suits since 1979. As the biggest garment exporter of the northeastern port city Dalian, Dayang has been reaping more and more rewards. This time, the US billionaire Buffett’s endorsement not only provoked investors’ interest in Dayang Trands, but also raised their confidence in the suits making group.

In the video mentioned above, Buffett said, "I have to tell you that I now have nine suits all made in China. I threw away the rest of my suits". It is hard to believe that the world’s second richest man owns only nine suits, even harder to believe that Chinese-made suits are now his only favorite option. But they are all true. Although Buffett did not brag about his style sense at all and Dayang Trands claimed no “discloesable business relationship” with the genius investor, his compliments on Dayang Trands clearly influenced investors’ minds.

Like Dayang Trands, more other ‘made in China' suits have earned their names in the international market of men’s suits. Today, with premium quality as well as budget-friendly cost, Chinese suits are getting more and more popular among men from all walks of life and countries.

Ideas for a Joyful 2009 Halloween Party

Posted in Market Trends & Hot Products, Apparel & Fashion, Toys, Home & Garden by Evangeline on the September 21st, 2009

No stress, much fun — Halloween is absolutely the favorite holiday celebrated by both kids and adults. In fact it’s for the kids in all of us. In our society where a feast of various tricks is only once in a blue moon, why not indulge in the treats? Here are some ideas for you to prepare for a spooky and memorable Halloween:

Halloween food

Food: Even if you have little passion for cooking or eating, you’d probably still be fascinated by the cooks’ novelty. Rather than merely being the food candy, they are more of an eye-candy.

Halloween scary toys

Tricks: Trick toys are essential for creating “surprises”. You can greet your friends with the weirdest tricks. If your “surprise” is more scaring than enjoyable, make sure your friends get strong nerves before you take the action…

Halloween pumkins

Pumpkin Lights: Pumpkins are undoubtedly the icon of the Halloween. Their awkwardly shaped teeth, glowing hollow eyes, and even the drawn-back corners of the falcate mouth can always remind you of the supernatural existence of ghosts.

Halloween costumes and masks

Costumes & Masks: Mysterious aliens from outer space, nonhuman creatures, eccentrics bearing distorted facial expressions, beautiful Snow White, superman, sexy witches, and even the familiar figure of Michel Jackson might appear in your party. Dress up in spooky, eerie costumes and wear an impressive mask, then you will be the queen or king of the ghost haunted Halloween.

Wigs: Don’t despise the effect of a piece of wig. If you don’t want to spend a fortune to buy an expensive costume, you can also choose to wear a wig. It is easy to manage and can yield equally great effect if paired with proper makeup. Choose one from piles of impeccable alternatives and give yourself a brand new look!

Halloween decors

Halloween Décor: Likewise, to find something unusual for Halloween does not mean it has to cost you an arm and a leg. Low light and horrific sound effect can easily help build a scary atmosphere for your party.

The last Halloween idea: dog ghosts!

Look at them, aren’t they handsome? :)
