TBS News reports that male remains were discovered on Saturday morning in the mountains of Gunma Prefecture, which is the same general area where Crayon Shin-chan creator Yoshito Usui was reportedly going hiking on September 11th when he went missing. It's hard to generate strong feelings for someone you've not known personally. However, when I think about how much just enjoyment I've gotten from Crayon Shin-chan and that Yoshito Usui won't be around to bring any more into existence, I am sad.

This is quite sad, as he will be missed dearly. I never laughed my butt off so hard as watching Shin Chan's antics's. I'm glad they found him at least. now the family at least no longer has to wonder. Farewell Sensei.FrownCryCryCry

Never met the fellow, nor really watched his show.  It's a pity that he died in such a way…  Bless him and his family.
