Crayon Shin-chan creator found dead
Crayon Shin-chan creator Usui Yoshito (51) has been missing since the 11th of September after he told his family that he was going mountain hiking in Mount Arafune, and an unidentified body was found on the 19th which has now been confirmed by the police to be the body of Usui Yoshito.
It is believed he had fallen from the Tomoiwa cliff which was near the top of the mountain, his body was found about 120 meters below the cliff. There are no railings around the cliff, but it’s not near the hiking course and there have not been any accidents in that area recently.
Usui goes mountain climbing on a frequent basis apparently.

I grew up reading Shin-chan and it used to be one of my favorite manga series despite its juvenile humor. RIP Usui Yoshito.

Guess the PTA of Japan will be pleased with this news. They never had a liking to Crayon Shin-chan.

I really love Shin-chan, most of the jokes were sometimes crude and such but there are some lovely gems once in a while. Almost in each of the takubon there were stories with good morals especially in the later books. Losing a friend, separated from family and even how to appreciate family members are some of the morals that you can see in Shin-chan. Everytime Shin-chan was granted a wish, in the end he’ll always do the right thing. Even his father would decline to be a Superman just because being himself was better. There was a time when Himawari was given a Growth potion that make her older, first she was happy and dominated over her brother until the potion made her very old. It was Shin-chan that tried to carry her to the antidote and she realized her brother’s love to her. Dang, now my eyes are getting misty again…
You’ll be miss Yoshito-sensei.

Amano = its called empathy, look it up some time.
its far less hypocritical than a pair of douches that talk big on the great big anon internet, but if they were in a similar situation would demand and appreciate empathy from others, even strangers, as any human would.
and far less hypocritical than a pair of douches talking big on the big anon internet but would never have the guts to say such thing to people’s faces.
