‘A Very Brave Witch’, the short story which Elle narrated, will be released on DVD September 29 if you’re interested in in hearing her voiceover work. The DVD, which is available for pre-order on Amazon.com, also includes some other children’s Halloween stories. You can read a review of Elle’s narration here.

I have added a new picture of Elle behind the scenes of Somewhere to the gallery. It’s from back in July when she was filming in Milan. She looks adorable!

In other Somewhere news, it seems as though Elle’s character is loosely based on the director herself, Sofia Coppola, when she was Elle’s age. Read this translated interview with an Italian TV show presenter who plays a role in the movie, describing his experiences on set.

Me and Ventura play a scene which belongs to Sofia’s memories. Her trip to Italy with her father (Francis Ford Coppola) who came to receive the Telegatto Award. In the scene we give the Award to an actor, whose name I can’t remember and who plays the father, while in the hall sits a little girls who plays Sofia (Elle Fanning)

Production on ‘Somewhere’ has rolled into Milan, Italy, and luckily for us, some candid pics have surfaced. Elle was filming a scene with her on-screen father, Stephen Dorff. Thanks so much to the amazing Mel for helping us to get these pics!

Looks as though Elle has been supporting Dakota while she films her scenes for The Runaways lately. She was spotted walking along with her yesterday (July 22nd). She’s wearing her favorite outfit and looks very cute. Check out two pictures in the gallery!

Elle was seen walking and talking with the director of her upcoming film, Somewhere, last month in Los Angeles. The good news is that there are a couple of small pictures, but the bad news is that they’re rather low quality. With any luck we’ll see some better quality ones soon. For now, you can check them out in the gallery. Credit and thanks to Meeli and the I Heart Sofia LJ group for the pics. Somewhere has reportedly been filming for the past month or two, and is due to wrap soon.

The site will return to normal soon. We were hacked with an SQL injection while I was not here and I’m trying to fix it now. Thanks for your patience!

Edit: All fixed! I would recommend running a virus scan if you have visited the site in the past couple of days. We are all clear now though, so sorry for the inconvenience.

I have added a new video to the site today. It’s from the movie Coraline which stars Elle’s sister, Dakota. Dakota and Elle toured Laika Studios where the movie was made. You can watch that here or on youtube. Caps will be up asap!
