Of highly polished bamboo, the node in the middle of the slender shaft and upper surface grooved

With two bamboo cases and two wood boxes authenticated by Sen no Sotan (Genpaku: 1578-1658) and Sen Soshitsu XV (Hounsai: b. 1923), letter of authentication and transfer of ownership by Sen Soshitsu VII (Chikuso; 1709-1733), wood boxes authenticated by Sen Soshitsu VIII (Itto; 1719-1771) and Sen Soshitsu XIV (Mugensai; 1893-1964) (2)
