Bug in Windows XP Shortcut Keys? Hi, I had a small problem trying to set-up a SHORTCUT KEY using WINDOWS XP PRO. Basically, I set-up SHORTCUT KEY using a WINDOWS SHORTCUT to some file. But I then found that the SHORTCUT KEY wouldn't work as I had already set the same SHORTCUT KEY in a different SHORTCUT FILE. WINDOWS XP PRO simply wouldn't let me set-up the same key in the PROPERTY PAGE for the new WINDOWS SHORTCUT FILE. This is good but the only thing is that I had already deleted the old WINDOWS SHORTCUT where I had created that assingment. Surely me deleting that old WINDOWS SHORTCUT should make WINDOWS XP PRO forget that old SHORTCUT KEY along with the deleted SHORTCUT FILE? Take care all. Paul. |
