| You'll probably regret doing it if you do so just let it be as it is naturally. Whether you're brunette or blond you're You-be happy like that, not like all the fake and phony bleached blondes. | 0 @ 04-02-2008 10:36 BunnyEarGirl6 | 102 posts
| im brunette, but it'll be just for the prom. im going to use a home dye. | 0 @ 04-02-2008 12:06 Juliet86 | 12,903 posts
| Maybe prom isn't the best time to experiment, if it turns out badly you might regret it. But a little change can be fun, go for it if you want. | 0 @ 04-02-2008 14:03 Cheater138 | 19,729 posts
| I dyed my hair blue once. It looked good for about a day then when the dye washed out it turned green. Plus the dye dried my hair out very badly.
It was fun though, turned people's heads. Plus I can say that I did that once. If you want to do it go for it. But I would suggest trying it once before prom. (i'm assuming that's a little later this year, right?) Make sure you like it first. | 0 @ 04-02-2008 17:59 misfitgurl444 | 5,917 posts
| Lol blue is the worst color you can dye your hair. I love the color blue but it doesn't work with any hair color. I honestly would dye it like aqua or teal.
My hair is dirty blonde but I know it'll look good with red because I've tried =p. | 0 @ 04-02-2008 20:38 Cheater138 | 19,729 posts
| it doesn't matter what shade blue you use, if your hair is blonde (mine was when i dyed it) it will turn green after a few washes. yellow + blue = green.
aqua and teal have green hues in them anyway, that'd definitely turn green. | 0 @ 05-02-2008 03:57 NightHobbit | 23,504 posts
| If you're interested, Here's a picture of my friend.
Rhiannon
She bleached her hair white and then died it gradient teal and dark blue. surprisingly bleaching her hair 2wice has made the colour last more than 10 washes.
She had it turqoise before. | 0 @ 05-02-2008 04:22 musiclover342 | 1,800 posts

| That's what my hair did Lou, though not purposely.. plus the dye dried my hair out so much it didn't look as good as your friends. it was just a big green poof. | 0 @ 05-02-2008 04:28 JDolla | 9,504 posts

| DO NOT go red by yourself. If you must, go to a salon. I'd recommend not messing with it anyway. You'll NEVER fully get the red out, and I don't care if it's the 6 day washout kind, red stays FOREVER.
Why don't you just go get a fancy 'do? Go to a beauty school rather than a salon, it'll be much cheaper. And get something temporary. For a wedding I was in, they curled every hair on my head using a straightening iron, and it was the coolest thing ever. | 0 @ 13-02-2008 17:47 Danil0vesays | 25 posts
| its up to you,i mean..
i'd be all for it..
but then again i dye my hair a different color every few weeks.
if this is your first time dying it,
have someone help you out or go to a salon.
you'll get much better results. lol
trust me.. i know.. | 0 @ 13-02-2008 17:49 Danil0vesays | 25 posts
