I've finally figured out the trick to reading these posts: anything written by someone who can't spell or uses ALL CAPS will invariably be stupid, racist, or both.So as soon as you see either, stop reading.

Simplicity488847 03:09 PMAug 21 2009 people... in 1954 they didn't have the forensics they do now. they did things a lot differently also. remember they reopened the case in 2004? the only thing they have to work with is a body they found a long time ago. sounds like she wanted her family to think she was gone. unfortunately people do that all the time. if someone wants to disapear, they do. anyway, these stories are supposed to be happy events. not to be 'suspicious publicity ploys'. by the way, it was 55 years ago, not 54. :-p====================================No that said the year was 54............not 54 years ago

Some poor slob has probably been languishing in prison for the last 55 years for a murder he didn't commit because of some scumbag prosecutor.

Actually, that clay bust of a woman was just discussed on a TV show last night. It seems that it was a woman from Mexico who was murdered in the US. They finally exhumed the body and sent it to her family.

Bet one of the siblings was born in 1954 or 1955. Maybe the relatives should pay for the investigative work the taxpayers footed.

Knappag1, just because you disagree with someone's political views doesn't make them a rapist. I'm pretty far to the left myself, but I realize most Southerners aren't rapists (partially by having gone to the south, which I doubt you have done)
