Firstly, thanks to everyone who always stays up to cheer for me despite time differences!!
Week after week things just don’t work out the way I want, and it’s a tough period for me, but I am making an effort to stay positive, so that if nothing else at least my heart is heading in the winning direction.

About the US OPEN this time, I didn’t know about the issue until my manager informed me, and I was really shocked when I did first hear about it. Apparently there are all kinds of opinions – the ball moved; the ball wobbled; the ball was touched – but if I had been aware of the ball moving or wobbling or myself touching the ball, I think I would have reported it.
No, I WOULD have reported it.

But the people who were there on the day – the game officials, caddies, marker and players in the same group – did not notice any such movement, so this is a very difficult problem.

I watched the footage.
The ball does appear to move, and it does look like it wobbles too.
However, the people who were there at the time, including me, were not aware of it, so it is really hard to make a judgment in this situation.




If I was aware of the ball moving during play, as a professional golfer, I would always report it there and then.





If I thought it moved I would have said so right then.




I love golf. And to be honest I believe there is a God.
I want to continue playing golf in a way that is true to me, with confidence, and I don’t want to have this uncomfortable cloud hanging over me when it’s time for Evian next week so I decided to write my honest thoughts here in my blog.




I feel terrible having so many people worried about me.
I would be lying if I said I wasn’t shocked or feeling down about this situation, but I will go on strongly, with confidence in what I believe, and I’ll show you I can break through all kinds of walls!
