I am so sick of the so-called Republicans that keep spewing hatred against our President in any post. Why can't any of you stick to the topic? All this hatred is beginning to look like sour grapes. Half of the United States put up with the moron you call George W. Bush for eight years. I'm gonna call you out and call you unpatriotic just like you called us. Get a life. And if you don't like our President, you can move to Canada.

TheFonzies85******We ALL have the spark of the "divine". That, my friend, is my point. That makes all the difference between humans and animals. If you want to talk simply about biological functions...th animal reference is on point, but highly inadequate****

Patent nonsense. Another effort to upgrade animals to human status. It's pure B.S. to compare human intelligence to reward-induced responses by animals. There is no development of the cerebral cortex in animalsthat can produce responses from animals that can logically be interpretedas an indication of "intelligence". Dogs and other animals do NOT "learn" words or anything else for that matter; they simply respond to commandsand gestures through conditioning. If they actually "learned" words, theywould be capable of anticipating the reward and project the previously successful word pattern, either written or spoken (however crude) in anattempt to achieve their goal. The structure of a dog's larynx is capable ofproducing intelligible words, but Lassie's frontal lobe isn't capable of sendingthe correct signal. If it was, the dog would be capable of "learning" and thentell us what they have learned. This "study" has about as much credibilityas a carnival sideshow.
