A 25-year-old exotic dancer in Port St. Lucie, Florida is credited for saving the life of one of her clients who might have died during one of her performances.

Karnesha Nantz saved the life of Daniel Karpinski, 46, Friday morning by administering Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) after he stopped breathing.

According to the local paper, the Sun-Sentinel, Nantz called 911 when she noticed Karpinski was having trouble breathing. However she was able to get him breathing again before rescue officials could arrive.

Nantz said Karpinski offered her prescription narcotics on several occasions while she was dancing for him. Police have released no information on if the drugs were linked to the possible heart problem, but officers say a bottle of prescription oxycodone with Karpinski's name on it was found at the scene.

Karpinski was transported to St. Lucie Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.
