One Million People's Blessings on Evangelion 2.0 plus A Secret in the End Credits |

You may have already heard from the news reports, but it appears that
over one million people have gone to see Evangelion 2.0 : You Can (Not)
Advance in less than 10 days since its release. Eva 1.0 also
reached the one million mark, but it took over 25 days for that to come
about. This time it took only 10 days. I'm looking forward to finding out
just how far it will go this time!
In Eva 2.0, I was fortunate enough to participate in the original production of the film as English language related film direction support. While this follows my participation in the previous Eva 1.0 production, I am deeply honored to have been granted an opportunity to participate in another masterpiece such as Eva 2.0. Now regarding the end credits--In one spot I'm listed as "English and Russian language related film direction support," but this is actually a mistake. I can't speak Russian. Really. The Russian portions were supervised and translated by our lovely Jenya, who herself was featured in the film as a voice actress. Just as in the production of Black Lagoon, I worked together with Jenya, where she would work on Russian while I would concentrate on English. We worked together very closely in certain sections. My work with the production of the film was based on a lot of help provided by others who specialize in fields that I'm not familiar with, i.e. areas such as German and Akkadian. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all those that have helped my until now. I humbly hope there will be more opportunities such as this in the future.
