Digital preservation company CyArk, in cooperation with the National Park Service, will being creating a digital map of Mount Rushmore in September as part of a global initiative to preserve world heritage sites.

I wish they could just leave it alone. I don't want anything new added to ths, and only things that need to be done should be done in the same fashion done by the original craftsman. Just becuase it can be done, does not mean that it should be or that it will make it better. This is sad. They probably just want to make sure that there isn't treasure buried there like the movie said.Find another mountain. Leave this one alone. National Park Service. Shame on you for even considering this.
