ABOUT PALISADES PARK PUBLIC LIBRARY - goals

The Palisades Park Public Library seeks to involve our community in encouraging a lifetime love of learning, through embodiment of best practices in librarianship.
The Palisades Park Public Library will provide books and other materials of contemporary interest and permanent value for the enjoyment and education of the entire community.
The Palisades Park Public Library will utilize traditional and emerging technologies.
The Palisades Park Public Library will seek out relationships with local organizations that share our mission statement.

You can borrow on-line or in person from over 5 million items available on the shelves of 75 member libraries. Your library card opens up the world of the BCCLS databases - full-text articles from over 1,000 magazines and newspapers.

In addition to books, movies, CDs magazines, audiobooks, and databases, your library card is your ticket to the many cultural events at your library, including concerts, films, book clubs, lectures, and outstanding programs for children and teens.
