This is so very sad, and menigitis is such a scary disease that can take people within days if not treated. I had it 10 years ago, but fortunately is was viral and not bacterial. Either way, symptoms should be addressed immediately since you won't knowwhich one it is until examined. I'm beginning to think also that anyone with cancer, even if feeling better, needs to isolate themselves from the public and overdoing it as long as their immune system is compromised. Three friends of my parents have died while in the age range of 65-75. All had a type had a cancer. All were feeling better when they got active again, and two died within the week of resuming activity. I think maybe doctors need to stress the dangers springing back into action too quickly, as frustrating as that may feel for the patient at the time.

Your literary works will live forever!! Thank you Frank and your brother. My grandfather was Scot-Irish, and I got tolearn much about life in Ireland. I have Africa, American Indian, and Irish in my bloodline. I love reading about my ethnic groups and about everyone else. I am reading about India, Puerto Rico, Iraq, etc. now. I love the netflix documentaries on countries also. It is a small world after all.

I enjoyed that book in spite of the most graphic depictions of grinding misery because of the humor and style of writing and it was pretty much impossible to put down.
