I am not amused at the way I was treated by Mr Xtreme over at Khail Khilari.

Admittedly, my language sometimes leaves a lot to be desired, but in this instance I didn't say or do anything to offend anyone until your beloved Mr Xtreme chose to pick sides.

All I ask of you is to take a read of the post and tell me whether I said anything wrong. I'm getting rather sick of being bad mouthed by this particular moderator, who chooses to favour certain Guppies. I'm not expecting an apology as I know that’s way beyond you guys, but please take note that I'm not used to being treated so unfairly. It's only right that Mr Xtreme also places equal blame on the other guppies and allows me to set up another net ball post

Sorry to say this but...

I think that you (Sadi sobi and the rest of the member) should keep you words and language within the vicinity of a formal ettiquets...

We are here to have fun and laughter... alhough sometimes we might go overboard... but then it is over first priority to aplogise for our wrong doings...

I think it is the responsibility of the moderator to act like a diplomate or a referee and to make sure that everything is in order.

Anyone failing to do so ought to be fined, by taking away the right to post and reply for a certain number of weeks or even moths... or perhaps for ever.

Like I said earlier, we're all capable of censoring what we read in order to accompany our own 'bad language thresholds'. The language that I use really isn't 2 bad .... If u want to see bad, then why not read what some of the guys write in Urdu and Punjabi in other forums. The problem here is obviously more to do with the fact that

a) I'm female and paki women really shouldn't cuss (tut tut tut, naughty me) and

b) I cuss in English (bad language sounds soooooo much more sophisticated in Urdu, wouldn't u agree :rollseyes: )

I would write in more detail, only this post was actually intended for the Admin team, not you.

I just read that post and it's really bizarre how the guys, Vicki in particular did their absolute best to provoke an argument.

There is so much immaturity a person can tolerate from others. It's amazing how most of the people who are always the first to dish "it" out in terms of criticism etc can never take being criticised themselves!!

You were censured for your bad language, the other guys were censured for being morons. Go back and read it again. Unfortunately, due to present Gupshup rules, I have to act against bad language, but I am not authorised to act against stupidity. I hope that clears that up for you .

By all means start another thread on netball and hopefully this time we can stick to the topic instead of getting side-tracked into the usual phaddas.

Xtreme, if u were to take a trip back into the post i think u'll find that i did not use bad language until u decided to single me out for criticism.

So these so called rules mean that I can say anything as long as i'm not using bad language ..... Interesting .....

1. Your being female has nothing to do with it. So get it out of your system.

2. It doesn't matter if you cuss in english or urdu or punjabi. All are equally distasteful and unacceptable in these forums.

In everyday life, you may use words, which you now consider as "normal" and "not too bad". But here on GupShup, we try to maintain a better threshhold of decency.

You are free to complain to Admin if you find any instances of foul language employed here, directed towards u or any other member. Where appropriate, quick action will be taken to remedy the situation.

I was merely trying to ask extreme why he had treated other male guppies more favourably than myself when they were to blame.

You are under a wrong impression if you think I was favouring those guys over you. In fact, I will happily concede that you were wiping the floor with them except for your customary use of colourful language. Don't think it's my delicate ears that need to be protected from your more colourful phrases. As the movie producer told Tom Hagan in The Godfather:

"if any of those Gomba hoodlums wanna try any rough stuff you tell your boss I ain't no band leader.."

Lots of kiddies visit this site so we don't want to be flooded with complaints or this place won't last long.
