So the prisons are full and state budgets are in decline.The states cannot add new inmates without releasing the old.Hence the talk of early release for prisoners.The death penalty must be reinstituted for all those found guilty of committing violent crimes.Within 2 years of sentencing all appeals need to be completed.

Williamcjonesjr It is a fact, something that is non-violent will get someone 5 years to life....A murderer or rapiest will get out in 3 or less....~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And the poor SOB who gets caught with a joint. He gets 20 years. 3 YEARS FOR RAPE? What about last month. That creep got ONE year for raping a 4 y/o.

Here is a prime example of why the criminal justice system is failing. If the criminal that was driving had been in prison for his previous crimes, he would not be driving. The poor boy will live without his father.

I like to see Mark St. Pierre being sentenced to death for murdering Miguel Colon'. Mark's life isn't worth anything. I feel bad for the little boy who now has to live without a loving, devoted father like Miguel. This horrible news made me want to cry.
