I was talking to a woman when her boyfriend reached across me and shot her in the head. She died at my feet while holding her infant child n her arms. I am educated (bachelors degree, 3.6 gpa) and yet, I had to struggle to put my words together when calling 911. I'd never met the couple before the shooting. I can only imagine how horrible it must have been for this guy when the man who was killed was his bestfriend! So, cut the guy some slack jackass! Finding two dead bodies could make the smartest most educated person forget his/her own name! Until it happens to you, don't presume you will handle the situation any better than this guy did.

Are you heartless? Until you are a family member or close friend of a murder victim you will never know how you will react. My brother was murdered 5 years ago and that moment is burned into my memory. It is relived every day. Have some thought about what you say, and until you have been there yourself, please don't judge.

Leave the guy alone. We'd all sound like morons if we found our best friend shot to death. He is obviously distraught and in shock.

God help the one who reports a death scene like this....The 1st inclination is for the cops to think the finder has something to do with it !

The first call that went out (should have been to the 911) in case the emergency team could have saved them ! Then call a relative or a friend. That's what I would want.

If Rob is taking the phone outside, it is pretty obvious that he is on a cell phone. And contrary to popular belief, they can't instantly trace a cell phone to your exact location.
