Pete King is a total jerk. He is making a name for himself and buying his way into the system as a good Politician. I really don't agree that there are any good politician's that don't lie their way through anything they can or that don't have any vises in life or sketetens in their closet. I agree with the comment below. He's only stating his opinion because he knows that MJ can't fight back. I believe in inocent until proven guilty. So what have you done so right in your life Pete King? And have you made any mistakes, or are you preaching that your life has been so perfect (A bowl of cherries). Being a Politician speaks for itself. Most are out there to earn brownie points to get their name recognized. Keep going and you will dig your own grave and Karma will surely hit you where it hurts the most. THIS COMMENT IS RIGHT ON:Feralcat58 05:43 PMJul 06 2009 Mr. Jackson is guilty of nothing more than being eccentric...and that is not a crime. He was accused falsely by opport...

A stadium for a funeral. Boy, some people are missing what I think may be the point here. The problem seems to be the everyday idol worhip and trumpeting by the mainstream media to commemorate an entertainer who had considerable problems while forgetting Farrah Fawcett as an entertainer and especially Ed McMahon who was not only an entertainer but a decorated US Marine. Everyone has problems. If the media wants to keep this dirge up day after day, then the others should also receive time spent on commemoration. People love all three who have passed for Pete's sake. God will judge all of us, so everyone shoul let up.

Peter King should go to hell. If he is so worried about our men and women in Afghanistan, he should be badmouthing George Bush putting them there in the first place. He probably doesn't even know anything about Michael Jackson and he is probably just jealous that no one will miss him at all when he dies and in fact people will be happy when he dies.

I wouldn't leave a child in a room with US Rep. Peter King, a Congressman who disrespects US judicial system in preference to his own racial, homophobic prejudices.

Thanks for saying what so many others are thinking. MJ rest in peace....wherever that may be. Only MJ knows if he is above or below. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Let me say from the outset that if MJ had been convicted of child molestation then many of the opinions would be justified. But, he was acquitted on all charges. It is clear that many of you let your emotions about his alleged child molestation acts and sometimes weird behavior decide for you that he's unworthy of the outpour of recognition in his death. None of us knows what he was like. Our opinions are largely shaped by what is presented through various media outlets. Lastly, if you are judging him based on a crime he was acquitted of, what do you say about Elvis laying eyes on a 14-year-old Priscilla? Then, he started dating her at 15. Do you call him a pedophile?

LMAO.....yea, I'll take my moral ques from a republican. First names that comes to mind Hastart, Foley, Cunningham, Ney, Bush, DeLay and that's just to name a few. I wouldn' give you spit for the opinion of any politician. They are all in it for their own gain and if you think different.......Shame on you.

The world is full off creeps that think Jackson is it. The guy was a lost cause from the word go. Mr. King is right with his words. The news people and TV people are a bunch of creeps along with the creep crowd that think he was the only one. What of waste of time.
