Hundreds of New York City teachers are doing nothing all day -- and are getting paid full salaries. The teachers in question face disciplinary hearings, and union contracts prohibit the city from firing teachers accused of wrongdoing or sending them home. Instead, the teachers are dispatched to so-called "rubber rooms." They paint, sleep, do yoga and anything else, except teach.

Toughening his rhetoric against Iranian leaders, President Barack Obama says that the U.S. and entire world are "appalled and outraged" by Iran's crackdown on protests following the country's presidential election. "I strongly condemn these unjust actions," Obama says. His message comes days after Republicans blasted him for being to passive on the issue.
