I'll try to update this blog regularly...although it may be a bit difficult as I currently have another blog to maintain, and the holiday season will end for me soon, so by then I'll be back to my usual hectic life at work! But I'll try my best to keep this blog alive!

Q. I have downloaded the movie files, but for some reason I am unable to open/watch them on my computer, why is this so?

A. Files which have been split into multiple parts with these extentions: .001, .002, .003 and so on, require a program called 'HJSplit' to join all the files together before you can watch them on your computer.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When you have downloaded all the split parts, make sure you saved them all in the SAME directory, and do NOT rename any of the files! Otherwise the program will not be able to do its job. So make sure you save all the split files in the same directory, leave them as they are before you join them.

Q. The file I downloaded is a .rar file, what is an .rar file and how can I watch the movie?

A. .rar files are compressed folders, they can contain all types of files, you need a program like winzip or peazip to extract all the files from it first. The video files for the movies should be in the .rar files you downloaded. Once you have extracted all the video files from the .rar folders, you can then watch them, depending on the type of files they are...if they're video files, you can watch them straight away with your video player. If the files are part files like .001 .002 etc, once again you'll need to join them altogether with HJSplit first.
