It's a national holiday on April 29th here in Japan. Nice weather, sunny day!
I strolled about through Osaka, Umeda down to Nakanoshima Island on the river.
My new Canon degital camera is so helpful in taking pictures.
So many pictures indeed!
I like the dudes jetskiing on the river. I enjoyed this thread and the other Osaka pics. This thread makes me wish I had gone to Japan instead of Korea to teach English. I heard the women there are a lot more fun.
Wow, the Umeda skyline has really filled out since the last time I was down in Osaka. I love the new towers going up in Kansai - they're more adventurous and a little less conservative than all of Tokyo's new boxes.
One of the worlds greatest cities! Some of these photos look like they were taken in the future. The Osaka Cube is crazy. It looks so cool right next to that bridge too.
Osaka Hikari (Light) - Renaissance 2008 has just started around Nakanoshima Island.
A lot of events are held during this month.
I started walking first around Kitahama down to National Museum area.
