I only left the manic panic one on for 10mins lol, the special effects one i had on for about half an hour and didnt go purple or blue at all. mm :/

no bother! just make sure you deep-condition your hair regularly! you dont want it getting really dry!

Well my hairs white blonde, and its taken me a while to get there even though i was only dark blonde,
but i did it all myself.
I use a kit called Blue Frosting,
which basically lightens your hair to extremes without damaging it.
It also takes away all the yellow parts, so you don't need a toner.
I also use blue shampoo to keep the whiteness.

Where did you get your Blue Frosting kit Jodie? I've never heard of it before.
I've got white blonde hair too and it took me SO long to get here. I get my hair done in the hairdressers when I can afford it, but when I can't I use Schwarzkopf XXL live in absolut platinum, then leave it on for more than the recommended time, which I know is REALLY bad, but it makes it go lighter. Then you can use Schwarzkopf touch of silver shampoo, it's for old women, but it brings out the white and grey in your hair lol. I bought it the other day but haven't got round to using it yet. Heard it was good though

hey all, im now a lovely shade of white blonde yaaay so thanks for all the help. I ended up using Schwarzkopf XXL live color in the lightest platinum shade (00A) which by the way leaves with quite a lovely shade of yellow which I was expecting and then paintbox - whiter shade of pale toner. And now I am a lovely pearly white blonde ^_^
