Barry Molloy was injured in the Terryland Park game
Derry City midfielders Liam Kearney and Barry Molloy face several months on the sidelines after sustaining serious injuries in Thursday's win at Galway.
Kearney, who joined the Candystripes from Cork City in January, broke a leg during the 3-0 victory in the League of Ireland Premier Division game.
Molloy is on crutches after suffering a foot injury at Terryland Park.
Sammy Morrow scored a brace in Derry's win with former Glentoran winger David Scullion also on target.
Morrow opened the scoring for the Candystripes in the 35th minute and the he added the second from the penalty spot in the 51st minute.
Scullion netted the third after 64 minutes.
The win moves Derry up to third in the league table, a point behind Bohemians and four behind leaders Cork City.
Derry's next league game is against St Patrick's Athletic at the Brandywell on Tuesday night.
