11. Stealing People's Mugs
Does Jerry Seinfeld really love his AMEX and use it everywhere he goes? Maybe so, but he still wouldn't do those ads for free. Celebs own their mugs, and they don't rent them out cheaply. Unless you paid for it, sticking a photo of Jerry or Oprah or Lindsay on your Web site as some kind of endorsement is an illegal "misappropriation of likeness." (And besides, unless you shot the photo, or got permission from the photographer, you don't have rights to use it in any manner.) But you could always make a 'Simpsons' avatar as your celebrity spokesperson.
