Instead of worrying about "The Oldest Profession" which will never go away, as there are many other mediums besides Craigs List, Maybe the Hero's who jumped on the BANDWAGON should go after real criminals. If you figure that maybe several hundred thousand adds were placed over the period it was running, I would say 1 murder is a grain of sand on the beach, and was bound to happen. When will it stop, when we lose all our rights..?? To those who think this was even a mild inconvenience in posting services, you need to step out of LA LA land and into the real world. Shame on CL for not standing up for its rights.

I feel the police should be monitoring CL's erotic and adult services catagories. It's the easiest way to catch these perverts and murderers. Don't let them go somewhere else. Let them come to you!! And take them off the street!!

Prostitution is not a victimless crime. The women have difficulty resuming a normal life. The customers may be blackmailed or get sick. Their wives and straight girlfriends may get sick. The neighborhoods are compromised. Frequently there is income tax evasion or kidnapping. Prostitution brought down former judge Naughty Nottingham. It sounds like once he started with prostitutes, he couldn't stop.

i have chosen not to participate on any on line service that requires personal information from me..be it craigs list(which i've never seen), facebook (which i've never visited but have heard too much about in the last few weeks, etc...face it folks ..once its out there its out there including to potential employers who have a right to go on line just like anyone else
