Nethood Folder

Everytime I open or close a program I get an error message saying "Nethood is a required windows folder and cannot be deleted." I've scanned with numerous antiviruses and they've found nothing. I've also scanned with Adaware and Spybot with no results. Please help.

Wish I could help but the only instance of that problem I've found while searching is other posts from you at a few other places. I've never heard of that problem and I know you've run numerous virus scans but did you try Fprotect while booted into Dos?
Hopefully some else might have more knowledge on this particular problem.

Is this on Windows 98? Make sure there are no "strange" entries in your startup files. Use Start -> Run -> msconfig to view all the startup programs
