We have canceled tonight's launch attempt of the Minotaur 1 rocket because of poor weather conditions. A decision on the next launch attempt will be made later tonight.

We are going to continue the hold the count for the launch of the Minotaur 1. The weatheris still the culprit. The next weather briefing will be at 7:30 p.m.

T-3 hours and counting. Weather still the big issue for the launch site and for surveillance aircraft that are soon schedule to depart for flights over the ocean. Otherwise, the count has gone smoothly and no issues being worked.

T- 4 hours and counting. Weather still an issue. Light rain currently in the Wallops area. The N.C. tracking site at Coquina is now back up and operating.

Lightning around the area of the Wallops tracking station on the Outer Banks North Carolina. They have had to temporarily shutdown part their systems.

T-6 hours and counting. The 1 p.m. forecast still shows an 85% probability of violating weather constraints at launch. Wallops personnel to prepare systems for launch.

T-6 hours and 45 minutes. The Wallops range crews have reported at their stations for today's launch attempt. Over the next hour they will be checking the readiness of the radars and other systems

At 12:30 p.m.we were at T-7 hours and 30 minutes and counting towards the opening of the launch window for the Minotaur 1 rocket carrying the TacSat-3 satellite. The window is 8 to 11 p.m. Weather looks to be an issue tonight. The latest forecast shows an 85% probability of violating weather constraints for launch.
