the wheels do appear to spin, but you can stop them too. when i stare at the whole thing, not just one, then none appear to spin, especially if you're a little out of focus. but when i look at a few in particular, they appear to spin

Anytime I look at one, it holds still and all of the ones around it spins. Then, when I change to a different wheel the same thing happens. :-)

Now I am thinking there is something wrong with me because when I focus on just one wheel...the entire picture appears to stop and hold still for me. As soon as I quit focusing on just one wheel, then the whole picture starts moving again. So this is just the oppisite of Meg and TJ.

Wow, when I was looking at the top of the illusion, the bottom started slowly spinning. Then when I looked at them spinning, it stopped right away. The same happened when I looked at the bottom of the illusion - the top started spinning.. It was way cool and something that should be experienced on acid lol.

IT TOTALLY LOOKS LIKE IT'S SPINNING. DON'T YOU SEE IT? BUT IF I STARE AT ONE THAT ONE DOESN'T SPIN BUT THE REST DO. AND IF I CONCENTRATE I CAN GET THEM TO STOP SPINING IF I LOOK AT THE WHOLE THING AND PUT MY ATTENTION ON THE CENTER BLACK DOTS. BUT ONCE I MOVE MY ATTENTION A BIT IT STARTS SPINNING. I THINK IT DEPENDS ON HOW YOU LOOK AT IT. BUT I CAN SEE THAT REALLY THEY ARE NOT SPINNING.
