Where did you get, and what are all of your names?
In historical order:
Corky: I had this nickname before I was born. These days I can sign my school paperwork 'Corky' and everybody knows who it belongs to. Sort of like Cher, I need no stinkin' surname.
Koreki: This is merely the Japanese spelling for 'Corky', my RL nickname. I use this in communications sometimes on the Japanese internet and in stories.
Chirityu: First internet nickname, from way back in time. Nonsense name that sounds Japanese.
Yoko Endovale: Nonsense pen name. Again, way back in the day, because it's not smart to release your name on the interwebs. Most recently has been shortened to Y-E.
Madam Zelles: 'Mademoiselle'. This was a name of a character in an important roleplay of mine.
Lord Peridox: Made from a combination of the words 'Paradox' and 'Peroxide'. The 'Lord' of the title is a joke to the reference that there 'are no girls on the internet.' This is my email and MSN name, and occasionally a name used on forums.
Xefi: Xefi is the real name of Zefie from .hack//udeden. Used quite often in online roleplaying games; she's usually a dancer.
pl0x: This is the most colorful of my nicknames. pl0x is short for 'Please' in 'leet', AKA internet misspellings. This came about from my habit of creating healing-type characters in MMORPGs. People will come up and say 'heal plz' or 'heal pl0x'. It stuck. This is my most used moniker these days.
Some interesting trivia:
Most people know me for having bright crimson hair. I actually dye my hair! I love the red color and find my natural haircolor, a chestnut sort of brown, a little bland.
My initials are CMB, but the 'm' is not Marie. It's Michelle.
Most of my childhood memories involve video games. My mother and grandmother play RPGs; one of my most vivid memories is that she named Terra from FF6 Corky and Lucca from CT Corky.
I visit my high school annually for Pi Day (March 14.) Why? They feed me pie.
I am a yellow belt student of Shorenryu style of Karate. I hope to find a new dojo to study in soon.
Somehow, I've become a self-studied expert on the Chernobyl disaster and the aftermath. I am highly irked by tourism in the area.
Finally, I can spy a morel mushroom from 10 feet away in leafy debris. No idea why, I don't eat them.
