3) Get Software That Remembers Your Passwords

Yes, you can instruct a Web browser to remember all your online logins, or to accept a cookie from Web sites, but that leaves you wide open if someone gets hold of your computer. Instead, install a password-tracking app such as Roboform (Windows) or 1Password (Mac). They allow you to dream up unique, hard-to-crack passwords for every site, while only having to remember the single password that unlocks the app, itself. Bonus: They also auto-fill Web forms with such info as your name or address.
