This is a good deal. Two of the DVDs are for women and two are for men, but all four made enjoyable viewing for us as a couple. Each DVD features instructional information, interviews with real people, and hot sexy scenes with good-looking real-life couples. It is obvious the couples care for each other and are not just porn actors. That made a big difference for us. This is a great tool for any committed couple - and for singles as well!
These videos were nothing but low budget soft core porn. There was nothing of any use in them. They tell you to be adventurous and try new things.... now you don't need to buy them.
If a man really believes that feeding me fruit is going to make me hot, he needs more than these damn DVDs that's for sure!

Dr. Lonnie Barbach is our hostess with the mostess for this foray into the world of what women want. As a woman, I'm the first to admit I'm not always sure what I want from a man, so I was more than interested in finding out what Dr. Barbach and the video itself had to say on the subject. To begin with, there is a short introduction where Dr. Barbach explains that this is not meant to be a definitive guide on the subject and is really just designed to give people ideas, some food for thought as it were. Actually, food featured pretty heavily in the first two scenes of this video. There are also some interviews with real women scattered throughout the film where real women are asked what they want from a man. If those do nothing else, they may well confirm what we were told at the intro, and that is each women is as individual as the clothes she wears, or the job she has.
Scene one transports us into a bedroom where a couple begins to explore the delights of having a thoughtful man who knows how to cut up and prepare all manner of fruits. From grapes to mandarins he tenderly feeds his partner, before gently removing her clothes and feasting on her. I got the point here in that many women say they want their partner to worship and adore them and he certainly does that in this scene.
Magically we travel back to real life interviews as we do between all the scenes in this video. I actually really like this touch as it adds some reality to the whole scenario. Next, we enter a kitchen as a man prepares, or more accurately attempts to prepare, a meal for his partner before she returns from a hard day at the office. Even though the meal wasn't the most appetizing looking thing in the world, the fact that he went to all that trouble just for her, certainly appealed judging by what she choose for dessert: Him -)) This scene was a little hard for me to swallow but it was erotic as she devours him. I would have liked to have actually seen the couple undress, but that said, it was worth watching because the sentiment behind it was right. A little effort goes a long way. Take note guys!
The next issue that is talked about is trust. The scene cuts to an older women masturbating on her bed as she reads an erotic story. She's blissfully unaware that her lover is secretly watching through a crack in the door, although it's not long before he decides to join her. What follows next is actually as much about communication as trust in my book, although the two do go hand in hand. She directs him, showing what strokes she prefers and the results are satisfying for both partners judging by the smiles on both their faces. I actually thought this was a great scene for those who may be worried about sharing their masturbation habits with their partners. The basic message being if you share you'll get more out of the experience.
Back to the real interviews and opinions before we go to the airport where a women decides to surprise her partner who has returned from a business trip. After picking him up, she reveals that all she is wearing beneath her coat is some lingerie. It's not long before they arrive at an old haunt of theirs and the windows of the car start to steam up. This was a really fun scene and the fact that the female took the initiative was a definite plus.
Carrying on that theme, we move to sex in public places and anyone whose ever partaken in this particular activity knows just how exciting it can be. Here we join a couple that is sightseeing from a vantage point high above Los Angeles. This scene has all the elements that both partners will probably enjoy watching, like most of those in this series. The setting is romantic and yet offers the element of danger in that they are exposed as they make love with their clothes on. The fact that she has a dress on and no panties is definitely a plus here, as it makes for easier access, and is something that I recommend everyone tries at least once in their life.
Now we move back indoors and to the familiar bedroom setting, where a couple is busy making love but with a difference. In this scene the women is in control of the situation. By in control, I don't mean in an S+M type scenario, I just mean it's obvious that she is comfortable with her sexuality and knows how to tease her partner and more importantly they both enjoy this. Hubby was captivated by a scene where the woman sits astride the man and uses his penis as a clitoral stimulator, then teases him by masturbating. The film finishes by once again returning to our real life interviewees who again try to sum up what they find sexy in a man, and teh women all seem to fail miserably.
What's it all add up to? This was a well thought out video and one that I really enjoyed watching, as did my partner. I didn't think the title reflects what this video is about though. To me it wasn't so much about what women wanted but how you could introduce elements into a relationship that would serve both partner's needs. Men want passionate, alive women. Women want passionate, alive men was the message I got from this video and I'm not sure if that's what the producers were aiming for, but either way it's an erotic, sensual film that as a women I was able to really enjoy. I came away from this viewing experience ready to take control, try new things, or revamp old ones from our past. The fact that this video seemed to have a really nice pace and flow to it was a definite plus as well. Bringing out important points but not in the way many instructional type videos do. The emphasis was on making things fun and I for one fully concur with that sentiment.

What do men want? For years I've thought about this question and finally they've come up with a video that's going to give me all the answers, or so I hoped.
The video opens with an introduction by Dr. Bernie Ziebergeld explaining that his video is not about what EVERY man wants, but that it gives you some ideas of what many men want. It's a place to start at least. From there it goes into a man-in-the-street interview asking men what it is they want when it comes to sex.

The answers are really not all that surprising, one of which is that men want their partners to actually be interested in them and in sex in general. Apparently they enjoy it when the woman takes the initiative. "Being creative is important because it makes men feel that you care enough to share in the work of sex."
The video goes on to follow one couple, showing how the woman initiated sex with her partner by leaving a snapshot of herself in various stages of undress from the front door all the way to the bathroom shower where she waited for him. What follows is a shower scene where she washes him and then gives him a hand-job rich with slippery, soapy lather. (Note: Some soap can cause a burning sensation in the urethra) It's a very sexy scene. Matter of fact, I rewound the video and watched it again ;-) The couple then goes on to have sex while standing in the shower. Now I know this isn't always physically possible for some couples, but it was still sexy to see it work for them.
Back to the man-in-the-street to find out more of what men want again followed by a normal looking couple acting out one of the suggestions given by the men being interviewed. In all, there are five scenes acted out - Surprise in the Shower, Driver her Crazy in Bed, Fun in the Van, In the Jacuzzi, and An Erotic Birthday Present.
There was an interesting thing that happened in the Jacuzzi, as noted by Dr. Ziebergeld. The setup for this scene is that the man gets more pleasure out of pleasing his partner than in taking pleasure for himself. In that scene we see him pleasuring her orally by the side of the Jacuzzi, but the man never has an orgasm or full erection even though there is plenty of sexplay. Dr. Ziebergeld suggests the following for how men would like women to deal with this type of situation: "Respond by not asking anxious questions about whether she is turning you on or stimulating you correctly. Just go on with the show." I agree with this to a point. Making the situation stressful when it is happening is NOT a good idea. However, if it happens on a regular occasion, I think as a couple you should discuss what is happening.
What does it all add up to?
Overall, I enjoyed watching this video. It did give me some ideas for different things that I can do with my lover to enhance our relationship. It's important to be reminded every once in a while of what keeps the spark in a sexual relationship. If your partner is a bit shy and is not willing to tell you outright what he wants, Dr. Ziebergeld suggests that you tell him your likes and wants first. Your sharing will help him to do the same. That's good advice, but doing so is not always easy. Watching these videos is a step in the right direction.

Three couples are caught up in various sexual escapades. The young school teacher who is having an affair with an older writer, a businessman, Alvaro, who is cheating on his pregnant wife and the old married couple of Macha and Emilio who are having trouble stirring up any passion in the bedroom, mostly due to Emilio's utter sexual incompetence.

It plays out like a comic farce with no serious tone of moral condemnation. But to fully appreciate it I think you must try to understand it within the context of Chilean society, with all the infidelity and sexual obsession that takes place in a superficially puritanical society. Of course, characters like the womanizing Alvaro and clueless Emilio are exaggerated for comic effect. But my wife, who is originally from Ecuador, says that what happens in this movie is really not that far from what hapens in reality among some couples in Latin America.I can see why this film made such a big splash in Chile.
I was priveleged to see this movie in theaters while living for a decade in Santiago. I ordered the DVD as a gift once it became available.

The movie follows the stories of various Santiaguinos, of varied socioeconomic backgrounds (an elementary school teacher, a butcher, a writer, and a successful architect) and show their handling of myriad daily sexual issues that they face.

For those unfamiliar with Chile and its people, this movie is a huge step forward from the standard conservative and inhibited Chilean persona.

It is both hilarious and touching (albeit explicit; not for anyone under 18). It does not disappoint.
One of these dysfunctional couples includes a husband whose philandering borders on obsession, but driven to rage by the idea that his wife even thinks that kind of thought herself. She doesn't, of course, but that's no excuse. Another couple consists of a man and his son's pretty teacher - never mind that each is already coupled somewhere else. The third pairs long-suffering Maca with a husband that no woman deserves, at least in bed. His idea of foreplay seems to consist of tugging her undies out of the way. No wonder the poor woman doesn't get much out of it. Even her gyno exam, usually about as sexy as an oil change from what I'm told, gives her more and gentler attention than she ever gets at home.

The males come in for some well-deserved bashing: the supposed adult with teenage libido and impulsiveness, the graying guy after the cute yonger woman, and the insensitive boor. All of this gives plenty to laugh at, with pleasant eroticism (well, mostly pleasant) throughout. And in the end, pretty much everyone gets what they deserve - especially Maca, the poster girl for the idea that there are no frigid women, just clumsy men. If you're up for a light bit of comedy with its clothes off, you might like this one.

A compelling Chilean tale for adults. Wonderfully cast, real, everyone can relate to it and the intriguing subplot at the end is like cherry on the cake!!!
"Sexo Con Amor" isn't really what I had expected. It's been a long time since I've seen a picture so sex obsessed. Every character in the movie is ruled by his/her urges. Men, in particular, are completely unable to control themselves--and fidelity, love and commitment fall by the wayside whenever a hot woman is present. It's a pretty limited worldview, but that would be OK if anything was going on intellectually in this film. Content to be a slapstick farce, however, I gave up trying to divine any kind of understanding or logic in these characters.

That said, there are moments in "Sexo Con Amor" that are amusing. It's not a laugh out loud type of humor (to me, anyway)--more of a roll my eyes in disbelief type. It's fast paced, the actors engaging and really throwing themselves into their roles. So I appreciated that--but I can't help it, I kept feeling like I was watching some crazy sexed-up foreign version of "Three's Company." That is the level of sophistication.

I didn't particularly dislike this film, but in a few months I'm sure I won't remember a second of it. It could have been something special, especially with this cast--but it's content to be an empty headed amusement. While I'd rate this 2 1/2 stars, I am going to round up in this case for an absolute lack of pretension. Check this out with very limited expectations--and if you have serious issues with casual adultery, avoid this movie at all costs. KGHarris, 11/06.

Why do we need the new sex? Isn't the old sex good enough? The step-by-step roadmap is missing a few steps if you know what I mean. And some of the steps are too complicated, if you know what I mean.
This DVD is the biggest load of rubbish I have ever seen. It doesn't even deserve ONE STAR!!!!It looks like it was made on a shoestring budget and is presented by a person who seems LESS than qualified. When one buys a DVD like this you expect clarity of instruction, clarity of visuals and above all - content to be presented in such a way that it leaves no doubt or query in the mind of the viewer. This DVD is amteurish, looks like it was shot on a handicam and is nothing short of a retail con job. Don't support inferior quality and misleading marketing. DON'T BUY this DVD!!!!
At the time when I looked over the reviews for the book and this VHS tape reviewers were raving and I thought "What the heck? Let's give it a try." Well, I did and I regret it. While the book was at least funny in parts the video was boring and I didn't learn anything new or different that the book hadn't addressed. I think watching my mother have sex would be more instructive and exciting than this video. Hell even watching my mother-in-law would be better.

I've looked into working with as sex surrogate before, but this video left me skeptical for the following reason: The overwhelming majority of men lose their virginity "organically," so to speak, in their teens or early 20's, resulting in a spontaneous order that nobody planned.

Those of us who miss that stage in our psycho-sexual development and try to compensate for it years later by working with a surrogate seem to want to force a planned order on their situations. But in the real world, attempts at imposing planned orders on systems that want to work organically, for example socializing market economies, often don't produce the results we want.

So I have to ask: How many adult virgin men who have an adequate sexual experience but under artificial conditions with a surrogate often discover later that they still can't start anything like a normal adult sex life?
I loved this film--as an 80s time-capsule of poor video quality and bad fashions, it immediately sucks you in. I expected it to be a kind of comical, after-school-special type film, but it is so unflinchingly honest about private human impulses and desires and longing to connect with others that I found myself quite moved. The director commentary is really great--he goes through the interesting boom-and-bust history of sex surrogacy, what happened to Maureen after the film, and what it was like to film such intimate scenes. At first I thought his conversational partner was annoying and borderline rude, but then I realized that he does represent a common reaction to the film--that of, "Well isn't she just a prostitute?"--and Kirby Dick respectfully treats it as a valid reaction but goes on to articulate what makes Maureen's work so special, and why she's so good at it. See this film!!
This is an 80s documentary that must be new only in that it was put on DVD. A female sex surrogate works with a virgin and a divorcee. Based on the decade, there is much loud makeup and overdone perms here. The technology used to film this looks old-fashioned too, like something your uncle would have taped when he got his first video recorder back in the 1980s. But when I think that this was filmed before the exhibitionist reality shows of this decade, I am impressed that the men allowed themselves to be filmed. That took courage.
The "red envelope" description on the DVD right away said that coitus would not be shown here. I would add that phalli are never shown either. People who don't dig further may originally ask, "Well, how could this documentary differ from porn?" Well, it's clinical nature, psychologists' babble, and quotidian individuals make this so mundane that most viewers won't be titillated.
I'm not cool with this, but some thin people don't understand why fat people like to eat so much. I try to empathize when smokers deride how non-smokers look down upon them. But it was very hard to relate to one of the subjects here. If you are a proud and rapacious horndog, then you won't understand why a 20-something man fears doing the nasty. The divorcee just needed some sweet pudding while he was in between relationships. But the virgin will make your jaw drop, if your equipment works. In Coppola's "Marie Antoinette," it was hard to watch the dauphin not be frisky and want to handle his business in the boudoir. I had the same frustrations here and imagine that many viewers, especially men, will too. But another way in which this work is dated is that it was filmed years before godsends Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis.
The work turns from observing the clients to observing the surrogate. It's a two-sided work. Perhaps, psychology professors can use it when speaking about countertransference. Actually, the tame and dry style of the work will make this film appropriate for many classrooms.
I wish this work spoke about the whole field and not just this one worker. Is sex surrogacy legal? How is it legal if prostitution is not? The surrogate seemed like she had much psychological training. What colleges or grad schools are preparing women for this profession!? What happens if a client or a surrogate are not attracted to each other? Wouldn't everybody want to enter this field? So who gets selected? Do clients fake having problems just so that they can pay to get busy? Are there male surrogates for majority women or for rainbow flag men? How does this field keep those within it from abusing ethics? None of this is explained in this work.
My friends and I saw this documentary on HBO in the Very late 80's in college had us cracking up although it is a documentary
In this cult doc from 1985, director Kirby Dick (This Film Is Not Yet Rated) weaves a fascinating study of the curious role of a sex surrogate in the then-new discipline of sexual therapy. Maureen Sullivan and two of her clients agreed to have the entire progression of their therapy taped, and what emerges is a disarming and compassionate look at the struggles people face in connecting with one another. Twenty-five-year-old Kipper is a virginal grad student who gets nervous just talking to a girl, let alone touching her, and John, at 45, is newly divorced and suffering from fears of sexual inadequacy. As Maureen attempts to build up their confidence, she also exposes her own doubts in this touching film that dismisses a clinical approach to sex.

Hornbill Films has releases of "Live for Sex, Die for Love" with a cast of some of the hottest men to ever appear on a movie screen together. Directed by Toby Ross and Joe Rubin, "Live for Sex, Die for Love" is the story of an evil white slave trader, Rocco and his sidekick, Vincent. They run a sex den where they exploit their clients so that they can have a high standard of living.
In the basement of the building of the sex den is the place where hustlers are kept in cages. These young men are a source of profit and are used for that purpose. In the evenings, they are taken out of their cages to the nearby alley where they are forced to sell their bodies and turn over the profits. The alley is known as "The Walk of Shame" and it is used by the men who, for whatever reason, cannot get in upstairs.
The building is designed to satisfy every sexual need. On the first floor is a "bookstore" where one can chose his pleasure. The second floor is for married and closeted men who want no more than anonymous sexual pleasure. It is a forbidden world and the people who live in it look at it as a home away from home for those who cannot afford to be seen in the company of gay men. In the film, a straight man exposed himself before the group of guys looking for a quickie and the resulting action is not for the weak of heart. The third floor houses men who stay high on drugs.
This is a dark film as it reflects the darker side of life. The only light we see is with the "Tenderloin Brothers", John and Throne, who try to find their way out of the horrible conditions and as they do, they also find that they have feelings for each other.
The movie is somewhat of a throwback to the exploitation films of the 1970's as well as early porn. The movie is haunting in the way that it shows the desperate lives of those regarded as sexual outlaws who attempt to maintain sanity in a place where insanity is the easier option.
The DVD contains a fascinating interview with young teenaged co-director Joe Rubin as well as deleted scenes and a commentary by Toby Ross.

I was looking for something to help make anal sex more enjoyable, more fun, and easier for me and my wife. Also, perhaps, something to help encourage her to experiment a little more. This DVD was OK but it didn't quite fit the bill. It is basically several scenes, starting with a brief interview with the couples about their experiences with anal, what they like, dislike, etc. They then proceed to demonstrate their techniques. Occasionally a disembodied voice gives a bit of obvious advice like, "Use lube", or "Stimulate your partner orally or manually first."

On the plus side, the actors are attractive, they are amateur but the sex is real, the photography is tasteful and decent, and everyone has a good time.

However, there were no Anal Sex "Secrets", there is the typical generic jazz soundtrack, and the "voice" that gives tips is useless. This ends up basically being decent amateur porn for couples. Don't expect to learn anything significant though.

This is a great indie film! For anyone who enjoys the exploitation genre! Don't listen to the naysayers! See for yourself!!!
Although this is a low, low budget effort with a lot of flaws, I'm giving it three stars for three reasons: 1) Truth-in-advertising - you get blood (lots) sex (some) and nightmares (the main character dreams about a serial killer on the loose); 2) the female lead (Julia Morizawa) does a pretty good job; 3) it shows what you can do with a paltry budget if you give it a good effort. When a couple go to do an "adult retreat" (otherwise called a sex camp) to rekindle their relationship, they find that the creepy groundskeeper is going around murdering everyone. Sure, it's a typical slasher-in-the-woods flick but at least they're adults getting slashed for having sex, not teenagers-as-usual. It also includes some oriental mysticism and a few surprises. So if you haven't seen every camp killer film, or you can't get enough of them, you may want to check this out.
This is the kind of movie you expect from a direct to video dvd.The characters are 1 dimensional and the plot has been done zillions of times before.There is enough nudity which can be expected as per the title.I actually bought this dvd because i am a tina kraus fan and she has a good 10 minute episode in the dvd but the plot and characters are stick figures to get slaughtered and that sums up the dvd,boring
I must admit that when I buy a movie like Blood and Sex Nightmare, I am mostly looking for some small time fun, maybe even a little tilltilation (the sex part, you know). This, for lack of a better term, movie, fail to offer either.
It is suposed to be an horror / mistery but the plot is so confouse and full of holes, that I doubt someone can find anything of interest there.
As a sexy/gore movie is extremely bland for modern standards.
The female protagonist is rather cute, but gives the impresion than she does not get the thin plot either, and more than frigten and confouse, she looks more anoyed and confouse. For example, she is informed by her husband than they will spare their free time in and ADULT resort (heavily implicated to be a swinging resort), but is devastated when he spends a night when other woman. The male protagonist and the male antagonist are well caracterized but stiff in their acting.
The suposed resort looks extremely uninviting, not atmospheric,just old and dirty, too old and dirty for the represented midlee class couple.
There is a brief comic relief sketch (ending in the murder of the three comic caracters) that is amusing and have a very nice looking nude woman, but is to short to justified the rest of the movie.
My recomendation, do not buy this and try to avoid rent it, life is too short and there are a lot of better movies of the same style.

Something unholy is stalking the guests of The Pleasure Mountain Adult Retreat. Local legend states that 40 years ago, a serial killer hung himself in these woods.
