Cultural Note

Under Milk Wood, a play (1953) by the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. This play for voices, originally written for radio but occasionally presented as a stage play, describes a day in the life of a Welsh fishing village and is noted for its poetic prose, rich humor, and vivid characterization.
