Reasons to Quit Facebook
Facebook founder and wunderkind Mark Zuckerberg has publicly announced his Twitter obsession, but it was still a surprise when Facebook's recent redesign came out looking so much like the white-hot micro-blogging site. The new design consolidates all of our friend's activities into one, meta-newsfeed that is almost impossible to keep up with. Despite a rash of user complaints, CEO Zuckerberg has stood behind the new design, promising to address issues in the future. We read that as a kind way of saying, "It's not going anywhere, so you'd better get used to it." Still, the sheer volume of information is difficult to parse, so we advocate that Facebook adopt stricter and more comprehensive filtering tools and (gasp!) potentially open up Facebook to third-party applications that provide such filtering (à la Twitter).

I think your comments about Facebook shows how little you know. I use Facebook and enjoy it immensely. There are the gimmicks, sent buy companies who sponsor the 'FREE' Site. But it is all harmless fun.
The largest groups on Facebook are Europeans talking to Americans. I have 20+ relatives on Facebook, that I never met before but they are related to me.
Facebook is a cross between; Myspace/Ancestry.com/WheresWaldo; with games and groups to join and speak your mind about the topics of today.
