Other than Shinsaibashi.. Is this place cheap? :P Any other places for easy shopping? I know Japan is not a cheap place :P As my last day of my japan tour will be in Osaka, would like more information. Especially, be spending xmas in Osaka. Please help what i can do there.

hello...i will be travelling ONE-WAY from osaka to hiroshima via Shinkansen and is wondering if its worth it to buy the JR pass? i am a student and people have been telling me there are transport discounts if u flash ur student card? If that is true, what kind of card is that? Is it the International Student Identity Card?

There so many options avail that I do not know which wan to choose from?
