I am not stickin up for anyone that rapes or trying to degrade a woman/man that has ever had to go through anything like this.1) teens should not wear skimpy clothes that make them look vulnerable2) Don't tease unless you are aiming to please3) Crying wolf is like sticking your hand in a hornets nestWomen sometimes send the wrong message. Even if they find a man attractive and don't really want to have sex with them, some girls just take it to that level. Then complain when a man goes over the line. Young girls that have no business getting on the internet or in chat lines wooo men into thinking that they are over the age limit, and then complain when these men get hungry. If we are going to always blame the men for the crime then we need to start accrediting the women for the stupid things that they do to lure them in. It goes both ways.

@ Stormmlvr: Comes from a rape study conducted by the military:"Charles "Nick" McDowell, the Air Force Office of Special Investigation's (AFOSI) rape specialist investigator in the 1980s, suffered irreparable damage to his career when he suggested that investigators must always consider the possibility that a rape accusation might be untrue. McDowell's organization, OSI, had discovered 27% of those accusers asked to take a polygraph test recanted, or decided they had not been raped, prior to taking the test. (Though polygraphs cannot be required in civilian cases, they can in military ones.) Perhaps of even more concern is that by combining polygraphs that were taken and investigations that were completed, the rate of false accusation rose to nearly 60%.Dr. McDowell's report was issued in 1985, and promptly came under fire by feminists who insisted that the military was trying to discredit women who had been attacked. The Armed Services backed off the McDowell report. However...

C'mon. Nobody knows for sure if she was even actually raped or not. Nowdays, false accusations outnumber actual rapes. And a stunt like this is liable to get an innocent man in a whole heap of trouble.--Ray

Thousands of records of transactions are available on a CDROM prepared by Harvard University and several comprehensive books have been published recently on the origins of modern slavery (namely, Hugh Thomas' The Slave Trade and Robin Blackburn's The Making Of New World Slavery) that shed new light on centuries of slave trading. What these records show is that the modern slave trade flourished in the early middle ages, as early as 869, especially between Muslim traders and western African kingdoms. For moralists, the most important aspect of that trade should be that Muslims were selling goods to the African kingdoms and the African kingdoms were paying with their own people.

This is kind of off topic, but where do names like Rashawn, Jashawn, Latisha, Laquisha and all those other "black" names come from? With some possible exceptions, they aren't african. I mean I doubt you'll find too many people in Rwanda with the name D'wayne. I mean all the people I've ever met from Africa had names like Adeola, Ebeneezer and Remi; but no Rojahns or Latifahs...Not trying to make fun, this has merely been a topic of discussion and argument among my friends.

JohnLevi21, You sound very small minded and ignorant. First of all a crime was commited, and reguardless of what color the person was it was WRONG. Secondly as far as you saying"Black people should be greatful to white people" How pathetic you are!! Be greatful to more small minded people as yourself who enslaved a race of people and brought them here and treated them like animals, ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! You sound very uneducated and stupid. Not all Black people are violent, aggresive and ride around in Bently's. Because the last time I read any news paper the KKK is just as violent and aggresive. As far as that goes CRIMES weather they be VIOLENT or not and aggresive behavior is committed by all races. So JohnLevi21 know what you are talking about before your ignorant ass start sterotyping different RACES!!!!
