Any one who follows my blogs knows my views on Illegal Aliens, knows I do not favor Amnesty for 12-15 million Illegal Aliens. I know the standard story from Bush and his Butt Buddy Vincenti Fox about these hard working folks just looking of a better life...horse hockey! Mexico plain and simple sees America as it's own personal welfare department, finds it far easier to export it's poor and oppressed to America, and then import Remittances from our nation to the tune of over 20 BILLION dollars a year.
This sense of ENTITLEMENT sickens me, and involves far more than just illegal immigrants as this next story shows. We build infrastructure, and over time it wears down, needs replaced or repaired. Our government wants to repair a leaking canal which provides AMERICAN WATER to San Diego, but the project is being held up because Mexico says such a repair would DENY THEM the benefits they have been getting for decades from the billions of gallons of water that leak from the canal into their nation!
In short, we fix a broken system of water transport, and they don't want it to happen as it would damage their lands, their farms! There contention is, that we have to allow this broken system to remain broken so that they can continue to get FREE WATER! Is it me, or is this just plain ignorant greedy thinking on the part of these retards?
Farmers near Mexicali have long relied on seepage from the All-American Canal to irrigate their fields. More Photos >

CALEXICO, Calif. — For more than 100 years, as their names imply, Calexico and its much larger sister city, Mexicali, south of the border, have embraced each other with a bonhomie born of mutual need and satisfaction in the infernal desert.
The pedestrian gate into Mexico clangs ceaselessly as Mexicans lug back bulging bags from Wal-Mart and 99 Cent Stores in Calexico. The line into the United States slogs along, steady but slower, through an air-conditioned foyer as men and women trudge off to work and, during the school year, children wear the universal face that greets the coming day.
Now, the ties that bind Calexico and Mexicali are being tested as a 20-year dispute over the rights to water leaking into Mexico from a canal on the American side is reaching a peak. Though the raging debate over illegal immigration in the United States has not upset border relations here, some say the fight over water could affect the number of Mexicans who try to cross here illegally.
To slake the ever-growing thirst of San Diego, 100 miles to the west, the United States has a plan to replace a 23-mile segment of the earthen All-American Canal, which the federal government owns and the Colorado River feeds, with a concrete-lined parallel trough.
The $225 million project would send more water to San Diego, by cutting off billions of leaked gallons — enough for 112,000 households a year — that have helped irrigate Mexican farms since the 1940's.
But Mexican farmers and their advocates say the lined canal would effectively turn off the spigot for 25,000 people, including 400 farmers whose wells rely on the seepage that has helped turn the powdery fields east of Mexicali, an industrial city, into one of the biggest Mexican producers of onions, alfalfa, asparagus, squash and other crops.
Obviously, in some ways Japan is far more sexually liberated than we here in America are...at least that is my belief after reading this article about the woes of being a Mistress in Japan. One thing is for sure...being a Mistress there can be very LUCRATIVE for those successful in finding someone willing to pay for the pleasures they offer. One complaining Mistress was recieving a montly allowance of 200,000 yen above and beyond the apartment she was provided...now, not sure what the exchange rate is today, but when I visited Japan back in the early 90's, the exchange rate was 132 yen to the dollar, so DO THE MATH. Not bad work if you can get it.
Japan's mistress business is reaching its headiest days since the '80s bubble era, courtesy of a crackdown on sex services and an improving economy, according to Spa! (7/11).
Miho Nagakura knows exactly what it's like to be a kept woman, having lived for almost five years in a posh central Tokyo apartment, given a 200,000 yen monthly stipend and lavished with luxuries by a lad who loved her from the moment he first laid eyes on her.
"We had normal sex once a week - he never wanted anything weird and I was quite happy to do his cooking and otherwise look after him. He told me to make something of myself, so I started taking English conversation, flower arrangement and other classes a few times a week. It seemed he got a lot of enjoyment out of watching me grow into a lady," the 29-year-old medical equipment worker tells Spa!
All good things come to an end, though, as Nagakura discovered.
"It looks like he found himself a younger mistress. He stopped visiting me as often and then the relationship just fizzled out," she says. "He didn't even give me a payoff."
Kana Hikawa knows what it's like to be a professional mistress in Noughties Japan, too, but unlike Nagakura, she's strictly business with little feeling involved.
Hikawa enrolled in an online matchmaking service where women upload their profile and photos for free and the men pay an annual fee running into several hundred thousand yen. For that sum, men can choose the registered women they fancy and are permitted to take them on a date on the premise that if they enjoy each other's company, they will enter a contract for the woman to become a mistress.
"On the day after I registered, I was introduced to two guys and I picked the one most likely to have multiple mistresses. That way, he'd probably have more money around I could also get away with meeting him less but still getting paid," the shrewd 26-year-old credit card company worker tells Spa! "Before you agree to sign a contract, there's a tryout romp. I used every technique I'd ever learned with every other guy I'd slept with, put all my effort into the session and really tried to sell myself. I refused to be passive, jumping on top and spending at least 10 minutes performing fellatio."
Hikawa's efforts paid off and she ended up signing a contract where she received 100,000 yen in cash every time she agreed to meet the 45-year-old tax accountant whose fancy she had tickled.
Not every professional mistress has a happy tale to tell, though. Satoe Kawai was less than happy with her stint as a kept woman.
"He bought me presents like saucy lingerie and even an anal probe. I was more like his sex slave than a lover. One time during sex, he suddenly thrust his fist in without a word of warning," the 27-year-old woman tells Spa! "I was tempted to call the cops on him."
Kawai found her way into being a mistress by posting a message on an ordinary lonely hearts site, but stressing that she was seeking a 35,000 yen payment any time she met somebody. Within half an hour, she'd been swamped with messages from guys eager to take her up on the offer, but countering with sums considerably less than what she was seeking. Eventually she settled on a man who said he couldn't afford 35,000 yen a meeting, but would pay her 100,000 yen a month if she agreed to meet him every Saturday. Kawai says she needed the money and agreed to his condition. But things soured for when Kawai when their sexual relationship began to take a twist toward the twisted.
"What got me through all the unpleasantness of the abnormal games was the delight I felt at not being broke all the time," the professional mistress tells Spa! "Now, I've got myself a regular job. It's a bit boring at times and, I know this is a given, but earning a legitimate living is the best way of all." (By Ryann Connell)
The on going failed Bush Police Action in Iraq has been bad enough on America, and in some ways on the world as a whole, playing a major contributing factor to the exploding gas prices around the globe. Our wrong war in Iraq has seen the gains in Afghanistan for the most part lost as the Taliban gains back lost ground, and reinstills fear in the hearts of many of the citizens and the poppy market rebounds.
Then, Hamas in a daring example of STUPIDITY nabbed and is holding hostage an Israel soldier...tanks in the Gaza strip, dozens dead, and any hopes of peace between two warring factions blowing in the wind.
Seriously, when is Bush going to realize that America would be far better off pulling our troops out of the area, and letting these people settle their own disputes...perhaps then, he could turn his attention to where it really belongs, which is Iran. Forget being nice, forget waiting for them to respond to an offer of carrots, and drop some serious NUCLEAR BOMBS on thier weapons manufacturing areas, eliminate their nuclear capability and be done with it....their Army would not stand a chance against us if we turned loose our military and let them hunt down these dogs of war.
BEIT LAHIYA, Gaza Strip, July 6 -- Israeli tanks pushed into populated areas here Thursday for the first time since reentering the Gaza Strip last week and met fierce resistance from Palestinians using rocket-propelled grenades, roadside mines and rifles to slow their advance.
At least 21 Palestinians were killed in the fighting, many from the governing Hamas movement's armed wing, and an Israeli soldier died after being shot in the head by a sniper.
The battlefield was concentrated along a half-mile strip of homes, dunes and orchards in a western neighborhood of this city, the deepest Israel has reached inside Gaza since evacuating its settlements and military bases here almost a year ago.
The clashes marked a significant turn in what had been a slow-moving Israeli military effort to free a captured soldier, stop the firing of rockets into southern Israel and weaken Hamas's hold on the Palestinian government. Employing tanks, bulldozers and Apache attack helicopters, the operation also provided a vivid view of the challenges now facing Israel's potent military as it fights a guerrilla force in residential areas.
"God help us all," said Mohammed Risqa, 13, as he watched and listened to the fighting battering his neighborhood.
The goal of Israel's operation here at Gaza's northern end is to take control of more territory between the border and the sites where Palestinians have launched rockets at southern Israel, making it harder to reach Israeli cities. In an operation that military officials described as limited in scope, Israeli troops plowed up fields, roads and open areas that have
Bush is spewing forth his usual pablum as he attempts to sell us his non working policies on world affairs and diplomacy, and Amnesty as a good thing for America, and its workers. So far, the press seems to be lobing him SOFT BALLS instead of asking hard questions, and nailing him down on the issues. Since Bush all but never gives AVERAGE AMERICANS access, here are a few questions, i WOULD POSE to him if I were in the audience.
1. Statistics from the Hispanic Pew Institute and other respected researhers have stated that Illegal Aliens in the America work force reduce Legal American Citizens wages by over 200 Billion dollars a year, and at a rate now over eight percent. How can you justify AMNESTY for illegal aliends, and a Guest Worker program that would increase, rather than decrease the number of workers vying for jobs in the lowest sector of our economy when such prestiages research groups figures show that illegal aliens are HURTING AVERAGE AMERICANS?
2. Companies and corporations have for years now been hiding behind a flimsy excuse that illegal aliens documents APPEAR to be in order. Yet, there is a large amount of antedotal evidence that they companies are willingly and knowingly breaking our laws, and employing illegal aliens. Why has work place enforcement decreased, rather than increased under your administration, and why are corporate lobbyists being allowed to craft the work place enforcement portion of an overhaul of immigration reform, and lastly, why does the current Senate Bill give companies an AMNESTY for any and all past illegal activities?
3. Iran and North Korea seem to be thumbing their noses at America, Iran quickly marching down the road to becoming a member of that elite club of Nuclear Super Powers, and North Korea testing seven missiles on Fourth of July, and putting more rockets on the launch pad. We see efforts to get a consensus on the Security Counsel of the United Nations to issue a STERN REBUKE to North Korea, yet said rebuke includes NO MENTION OF SANCTIONS. Why are you so gutless, and why are you refusing to take on these serious issues in a head on way to thwart the threats to our National Security, when you were so anxious to invade Iraq that you willingly lied to the American people?
4. Be it the torture scandels that have shadowed your administration, your illegal use of the NSA to spy on Americans, the leaking to the press of the name of a CIA undercover operative, to the latest scandel where your administration is accused of wrongfully accessing our bank statements, there are a lot of disturbing accusations swirling around. Rather than allow this series of alleged wrongs to taint the waters, why not encourage Congress to open investigations on these important issues, rather than using all your power of persuasion to see ANY INVESTIGATIONS derailed....the very fact that you are stopping these investigations feeds the belief among the American public that you and your administration DO HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE.
I have other questions I would love to see asked, but these four are a good start, and I would encourage the Press of American to stop giving the President SOFTBALL questions, and instead nail him down on the issues....I do not care if he is sixty, he's the President....the BUCK STOPS HERE, and America DESERVES SOME HONEST TALK.
