Trifles traumatize self-centered women

Sure, it takes two to tangle. But the question is, over what? And Japanese women nowadays seem to wrangle with their mates over absolutely the pettiest incidents.

Take, for instance, one couple that nearly ended up in divorce court because the wife's favorite show didn't get taped: the husband had incorrectly programmed the VCR. This triggered a vicious argument, culminating in the parents of both partners meeting to discuss divorce terms. But when the couple's five-year-old child began prattling about "Mommy's missed video," they saw the absurdity of it all and called off the divorce.

Spa! (8/8) relates another case where a housewife snapped at her husband for reaching for his coffee while she was doing nail art, thus causing her to botch the drawing. To make matters worse, instead of apologizing, hubbie complained about manicure vapors. So she left in a huff and hid out at her parents house for a week. The husband finally had to meet her there and apologize --- on his hands and knees.

It seems these women have all been bitten by the bugs of excessive self-love. Spa! dubs such women "Jiko-chu," self-centereds. When the boyfriend of one 25-year-old had the gall to take the window seat on the plane, she gave him the cold shoulder even after he offered to change seats. And when one guy unwittingly devoured most of his girlfriend's favorite dish on a trip together, she transferred to a different hotel room.

Yes, all it takes to offend these women is --- well, anything. Like answering a call on another line. One 26-year-old confessed to Spa! that she's dumped several boyfriends for picking up call waiting while talking to her on the phone. Another woman complained that her boyfriend took her to a luxury hotel that charges 30 to 40,000 yen per night. She was delighted --- until he told her he'd used a discount coupon. To his eternal bafflement, she stopped talking to him.

One woman noticed her boyfriend still had his socks on after lovemaking. So she threw him out with these parting words: "You've totally pissed me off." Some men don't even get that far. During lovemaking, one guy asked his mate once too often if it felt good. "I got so fed up," the 21 year-old coed tells Spa! "I slapped him across the face, and went home." He should consider himself lucky. One gal noticed that her lover hadn't removed his wristwatch when they started having sex. This infuriated her so much, she kicked him in the balls and stormed out.

Sometimes it's not the sex but the sun. One newlywed angrily cut her honeymoon short because, first of all, she didn't like the beach. (Never mind that she told the groom that anywhere was fine.), and secondly, she got suntanned after he urged her to play golf. So she filed for divorce --- and wrangled 2 million yen in alimony.

The *Sex-Maniacs* of the Western world tend to think that Asian women are *morally superior* to their Caucasian counterparts, however they fail to acknowledge that there is not a single shred of evidence to verify their insinuation.  The idiots refuse to acknowledge that savagery is deeply ingrained in the Asiatic culture, as can be identified by the manner in which a considerable amount of Asian women treat their spouses, children and animals.

In other words, the men would be offering their services as a form of currency, which would be VERY empowering, as it would counter the monopoly that women have on sex.

I read an article series about that some months past.  The basic conclusion of it, was that feminism will, if not ended, ultimately result in everyone being either single or homosexual, living alone, working alone, and having to pay for sex and or protection.

As violent as I know the world would get, I know that your idea would work.  Women don't realize how much men do protect them, from other women, from other men, from society, responsibility, accusations--everything.  I know my life would be a lot harder if it weren't for the men who protect me, so I try my best to do what I can to keep them happy.

It bears with the traditions in most really old countries that when women gain control there's a social and political collapse and society must be rebuilt.

I'll tell you honestly that I'm disappointed to have so many of the stereotypes and traditional ideas of women proven by feminists. I have to conclude that most women really are slightly more emotional, more "hysterical," and on the average less intelligent or at least less rational, based on feminists' behavior and the outcome of their measures. I'm disappointed, but then, why else would every country have sex roles arranged as they are/were? It's the most efficient and successful way to do things.

Lower and stupider are the men in power who rush to impose neurotic women's demands on everyone else. Maybe they get money and power or maybe they really are stupid.

The oddity is that women usually accomplish things by getting men to do them, and that's exactly how feminists have all accomplished their goals  -- while bragging about how independent and strong they are.

It's impossible for me to exaggerate the disappointment I had, as far back as the mid 60s, when the same women who bitterly complained about not "controlling" their own lives and bodies refused to make decisions and sneered at men who wanted them to as weak and then continued complaining that they don't "control" their own lives. As disappointed as in lawyers I knew who said most women were weak and deceitful or, if you prefer, brainwashed, and yet refused to administer laws that would force them to put their money where their mouths were.
