お笑いタレント「スマイリーキクチ」さんのブログに悪意のある書き込みを集中的に行い、名誉を傷つけたとして、警視庁は男女１８人を書類送検する方針を固めた。いわゆる「ブログ炎上」での摘発は初めて。

Tokyo police have referred a female office worker to prosecutors for allegedly posting a death threat on a TV personality's blog.
The 37-year-old comedian asked police to investigate after his blog was flooded with hundreds of defamatory messages, accusing him of involvement in a murder case 20 years ago.
Police say the 29-year-old woman posted a death threat on the comedian's blog last December. They say she has admitted the allegation, saying she believed the rumor and was driven by a sense of justice.
Police are also set to file criminal papers on 18 other individuals next week.
They say the scale of the case is unprecedented.
警視庁はお笑いタレントのブログに殺人の脅迫を書き込んだとして女性会社員を送検した。
37歳のコメディアンは、自身のブログに20年前の殺人事件に関わったとする何百もの中傷的な書き込みをされブログが炎上、警察に調査を届け出た。
警察は29歳の女性は昨年12月にこの男性のブログに殺人の脅しを書き込んだと発表。女性はこれを認めている。噂を信じ、正義からやったと供述している。
警察は他の18人についても来週書類送検する予定で、このケースでは前例がないという。
