   Sure, why not. But it would be a good thing to add the donation progress for each manga though to see how much has already been donated for translation and how much there’s left for it to finish.

   Yeah, I don’t have a way of automating that kind of thing, though. It’s less trouble if you just e-mail me if you want to know how much remains before a certain project is completed. Chances are cannon will be paid off in full by tomorrow, so I’ll be closing it off for donations once that’s been confirmed for sure.

   You can check the commission FAQ for this information. I begin working on extra chapters once I hit the amount needed for the next chapter(s). And no, covers and other junk like that don’t count.

    Kaworu Watashiya - Kodomo no Jikan
    Is an excellent comic and cant wait for more thank you for doing this series that has an excellent story going for it that keeps you hookeds hoping for more.

    So far is amazing and really exciting carnt wait to see what happens next as its got a really good story as well and great hentai parts.

    I sometimes work on stuff just for fun, but the expectation is that people will donate until the donor project eventually reaches completion, even if that happens to take a year. If people lose interest or the donor isn’t popular at all, it may be a while before the translation is completed.

    Any posibility to include Bow Rei’s Secret Flower Garden as a donor project? Since it was already comissioned up to chapter 13 it may be an interesting option.

    The problem with starting up Flower Garden as a donor project is that I don’t have the raws. If somebody can scan the raws and provide them, I’d have no problem adding it as a donor project.

    Yeah. Parabellum’s pretty close. Silver Dragon doesn’t actually have a tankoubon release after Volume 3. The publisher released the last chapter of and then it went belly up. Hard to say when/if a volume 4 tankoubon will ever be released.

    How about Toshiue no Hito as another donor project, since nobody has done any scans of it in a real long time. I was really enjoying it when KMTS was doing it, but the last time i checked on their forum, it was listed as dropped/discontued. In any event, i am enjoying several of your series, and look forward to a third chapter w/ the animal ear girls, if there is one.

    I don’t mind turning it into a donor project. I’d just need the earlier chapters. I managed to find volume 5 and 6 raw and I think I found a torrent for vol.1-4, but I’m still downloading it. How far has it been translated?

    So far it’s been translated up to v4 c21, and then KMTS & Hentai-enishi just topped, i’m not sure how far into v4 that is, but it should be close to the end, i’d imagine. And thanks for considering it, i’d love to manage to finish the story rather than leave it incomplete.

    Most likely SekaxSeka, Parabellum, Tail Chaser, Blood Lunch, Silver Dragon, Prince of the Stars, Cheers and Turning Point will all have 1 or 2 chapter releases within the next week.

    Regarding Toshiue no Hito:
    I remember reading this one long ago, and liking it quite a lot. If you get the raws SaHa, let me know, and I’ll get the ball rolling. And make sure it reaches the goal by myself, if needed.

    I’ve got to say thet i’ve gotten hooked, so to speak, on several of your translations. Currently Seka, Cheers, Tail Chaser, Prince, & Strange Heart are my favorites. Whenever ther’s a release of one of those titles, i enjoy reading it over several times. Although they may be hentai, the sories are so unusual that i can laugh my butt off for days remembering what happened in them.

    As long as the already translated chapters are not rewrites, I can take it as a partial donor project and ignore the chapters that were already done by other people.

    Oh, hi,
    I just wanted to say that your translations, sahadou, are just awesome; If it’s to read quality ‘not so mainstream’ titles translated into a language that I can actually understand then “oh yes”, I’m willing to pay.

    I live in Brazil and manga here is somewhat abundant, but o well… Localization tends to destroy some masterpieces.

    I want to contribute to Kodomo no Jikan, but as this series seems to be receiving more than suficient cash, I’ll take a look into the other projects.

    Uncensored? How’d that come about? Unless someone else did it after the scanning…but nevertheless, I’ll see if I can find it and check it out. And as for the donations, any amount barring $1 will do. Chip in what you can, or want for that matter.

    PS: Though the next chapter of Onigashima has $25 to go until its next up for translation, and the third chapter of Itazura Switch might pop up today. Just throwing that out there.

    Is it possible to start up a donor project by commissioning certain pages, then leave the rest to others?

    Let’s say I specifically want to see chapters 4, 6 and 9 of something translated (and pay for those). Would these chapters be prioritized then? The point is, I would ‘like’ to read it all eventually, even though I have a preference for certain chapters. It’s just a bit expensive for a student to commission all of it alone, you see. ^^

    I’m not sure if this is the whole point of running donor projects.

    As long as there’s no sequence to the chapters, that’s fine. In other words, if chapter 1 is directly related to chapter 4, 6 and 9, you’ll need to start with 1. If the stories are completely unrelated, it’s not a problem.

    Do you correct typos pointed out after the project completion (Hello, AnonymousEditor)?
    And in case you do, is there some way for us to see __when__ the fixed version is available without downloading the file every day to see if the size changes?

    As both the torrent and the direct download don’t carry any date info, I’d suggest renaming the file to “[SaHa] Author - Title (English) v2.rar” or making a new blog post to announce the availability (just adding a PS on the original one doesn’t show up in RSS readers). Even adding “version 2″ to some field in the commission lists would help a great deal…

    Hello JukanX^^

    My current way of keeping everything up to date is the following (I’m only downloading fixes with the torrents):
    1. Stop the torrent before it starts loading.
    2. Set all changed/new files to some other priority (using µtorrent)
    3. Start loading and replace all changed files (the priority serves as reminder, that this file got changed)

    I agree that this is not very efficient but it works.

    The idea of renaming would break the updating of the torrent. You would end up with multiple files for one release if you don’t clean up manually.

    Posting a comment in the release post might be the best idea as comments show up in RSS readers.

    The number left/out are accurate as long as I didn’t screw up. Also, it usually takes me 2 or 3 days after the release of any donor project chapters before I update the chapter info.

    @JukanX
    I’ll go with AnonymousEditor’s suggestion and add a comment to the individual releases mentioning that I’ve fixed the typos. I usually just get around to the fixes when I can find the time. The past 2 weeks have been a little crazy for me, though.

    Really? Hmm, didn’t try downloading it, but I meant the labeling. It still says 7 chapters are available when according to you, that isn’t the case. Also, I appreciate any amount you donate towards the translation of Onigashima (I was considering having Sayo add another project, but it’d be easier on my finances if I just do one at a time from now on). I’ll probably pitch in to Playing in Water as well…because I like Hoshino’s art.

The characters are different but it’s similar humorous superhero catgirl stuff combined with fantastically drawn sex.      A connection with the server could not be established.

     Saha, i love the fact that you’re the god when it cames to translating manga, and fact that you translate one’s that suit your needs, man i can tell you are big fan of “Shunjyo Shusuke” cause you translate his first book and you did an independent work of his. you think you can put a donor project on his new book “Venus Rhapsody” or do it yourself since your a fan of his work.
