Dutch fear foreign take overs of utilitiesFriday 30 January 2009 Two-thirds of the Dutch population are concerned about Dutch energy firms being taken over by foreign companies according, to a study by Blauw Research. Almost 90% of those questioned were aware that the country’s two largest power firms, Essent and Nuon, are in the process of being sold off to foreign firms.
