Victory Over Violence, an exhibit designed by youth in response to violence and bullying in schools, will be on display at the Rome-Floyd County Library Jan. 11-31, in conjunction with Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrations.
The Victory Over Violence program encourages respect, trust and friendship among young people, families, schools and communities across boundaries of race, religion and culture.
The exhibit is sponsored by Soka Gakkai International-USA, part of a worldwide Buddhist organization dedicated to promoting peace, culture and education.
The exhibit will be on display during normal library hours.
