Can Not Get Rid of Visited Links

Hello, I have cleared the history, deleted my cache and
when I visit a select group of pages, the VISITED LINKS
still show that I have visted, yet i've cleared them. I
have done everything I can think of and they will not
clear! Can someone tell me how to get rid of this
annoyance??
